Beautiful, deep cobalt blue lace openwork dress, circa 1930s vintage.
V neckline, soft shoulders are a fluttery, cap sleeve length with cuffed detail. Slight gathering at the undercuts, with ""M"" seaming at front waist, godet panel seaming at front and back center skirt for fit and flare shape.
No labels- looks and feels like a cotton blend weave, perhaps with rayon.
While I'm sure there have been touch- up and repairs over the years, this presents very well, no obvious repairs or damages to note. Exceedingly well kept- fresh and ready to wear! Wonderful over a sheath dress, a slip or silk nightgown, even camisole and tap pants. Really spectacular piece!
Measurements:
8"" across each top shoulder seam- flutter sleeve length
18"" armpit to armpit, with a comfortable give to 21"" across so this can fit a range of sizes
14""- 17"" across the waist (again, some give in terms of size)
20""- 24"" across the approximate hip height
77"" hem circumference (38.5"" across)
47"" overall length
